He was on the same level of cheese as the guitarists and that gave them their sound, no matter what people think of them. Distorted guitars, heavy fast riffs, pounding drums, etc.

It would be commercial suicide for Dragonforce to do that, and they know it. I'm sorry, but IMO his voice wasn't all that great when compared to other groups of the genre. I don't care for their music at all but his vocals DID tie everything together. On a more serious note, they will have a hard time replacing him. Through the fire and the flames, he'll carry on. Metal is defined by many things, and Dragonforce has many of them. My roommate, however, is a big fan.
