Deleting everything from the engine will allow it to operate 'healthier' and should allow it to last longer if properly maintained. MPG is up too, i used to average around 42-44mpg, The trip to the installer i got 38.2 and the trip back i got 49.2 at 70mph with AC on without even trying. A little understandable considering there are a lot of models and years. Win-win! Now what??

They did and found that everything except EVAP was ready and said there were no new codes. Mileage went from 37 up to 42. With the Malone tune the power stays on consistently without any noticeable drop off until past 4500rpm and im sure that this is due to the removal of the restrictive exhaust. Regardless, more power and more mpg make this well worth it (even if VW paid for it)! When calculating mileage, yes I do it manually and also enter it into Fuelly. my malone stage 2 gets me about 45-47mpg at 80mph highway speeds over distance (provided minimal elevation changes) I wonder why I'm not getting that good of mpg.
