Charlie's Sweet Shop was named after the Drummonds' longtime pet, Charlie, an easy-going basset hound who sadly passed away in 2017. We didn't have any ice cream,but we bought shirts and candy. All of this ice cream in a home-made waffle cone for $3.50. You'll find a mix of chocolates, gummies in all kinds of wacky shapes, and old-fashioned candy like Gold Mine bubble gum and saltwater taffy. The ice cream was delicious.. but...got here in the heat of the afternoon and they were out of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, so had to substitute another kind in the Road to the Ranch. Seemed the staff wasn’t very friendly as they were more concerned about chatting amongst themselves than they were about taking care of customers. The staff is so sweet as they will give you a sample of any of their roughly 12 flavors they have in their freezer. My favorite was the waffle bowl my ice cream came in...I could have eaten five of those. My topping ended up being the cowboy named Ladd,  who while eating his own cone, said hello & asked my husband and me how we were doing...with genuine sentiment.
