The career mode has an annoying lady droning on about every option. We'll be bringing a review soon. The career mode is a bit of improvement but doesn't fit the Rallye game like it does in F1 for example. These are based on the Logitech G29 setup, but could be used as a beginning point for other wheels and pedals. Yeah, we're stuck with the old G hub to play WRC 8, this game is trash. there seems to be no interest from Fanatec to support this game :( even though the DD1 and DD2 is support by the game, its the worst game ever to setup your max steering wheel angle and pedals (Heusinkveld) if you don't got mainstream hardware, the preset management probably never got tested by Bigben itself. I leave the Spring force on in the Control Panel, making the in-game settings the only factor controlling the force feedback. Clutch is used for clutch kick.

The Suspension, Ground Surface and Collision all work together to give the rumble effects as you drive over bumps, go off the track or hit things on the side of the road. All in all the game is buggy and combined with this dd1 hardware it is probably too dangerous to play anymore and ill be contacting the bigben support staff (fanatec has the information). WRC 8 could be called the first real professional effort by Kylotonn in the official rally series. The following two tabs change content below. Self Centre is the spring force, which artificially pulls the wheel back to the center. Sniper Elite 4 is definitely great though. With the steering it’s again pretty good from the off. By far the best outing every by KT Racing/Kylotonn and in the WRC franchise as a whole.
The game sets everything to 100 to begin with, and the sliders range between 0 and 150, so there’s quite a bit of scope for adjustment.
This makes the settings consistent across all games and prevents confusion in the few games that use it about why a FFB setting seems to have no effect.

Thankfully, the game provides a great deal of customization when it comes to the force feedback settings.
Me quedo con el dirt. I like how the WRC series games separate the force feedback from vibrations and has separate overall levels for each type. Seleccione G29 de los preajustes y presione Seleccionar. If this game had the graphics & car list of Dirt Rally 2.0, this (WRC 8) would probably be the best rally game ever made. First up are the force and effects WRC8 wheel settings which just focus on the feedback you’re going to feel. Unfortunately for the Thrustmaster TMX and T150, the default force feedback settings don't give the best first impression. Thanks to this post btw, i found how to make ffb a bit better, Edit: without self center wheel is too light.
WRC8 is a sequential mission, it has nothing to do with gear shift. Even assuming very powerful power steering it should have some weight in a wheel, so i'd say 20-30 is good to go.
I finally came out with these settings ----! WRC is finally going into the right direction.
It has no impact while you are driving.
These are all for how much of each element you are going to feel through the wheel, and there are a couple of nice options in here. Games like this work best when played with a force feedback wheel. fearless fanatec testers, are you out there?
i ran the above mentioned settings for ingame and wasted 6 hours of my life as they were not very good compared to resetting the ingame settings and going with the 720 max steering angle ingame as well as for the base. Press question mark to learn the rest of the keyboard shortcuts. Quizás toqué donde no debía.
The physics are believable and the courses are very detailed.
Braking defaults are also decent, with the vast majority of the resistance in the G29 pedal making up the second 50% of the gauge, so it works for both the deft touch and forcing the car to halt. The career mode is super in depth and intuitive and adds a whole new level of gameplay. We’ve started by trying out gravel, tarmac and ice, and the impact of the options across the changing surfaces.
All the forces needed to be lowered quite a bit, especially the vibrations.

The only thing I really wish this game had, and I realize it's a WRC game, is a larger selection of cars but honestly.
